(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order brings into force all the provisions of the Active Travel (Wales) Act 2013, save for those that commenced on Royal Assent.

The Active Travel (Wales) Act 2013 (Commencement) Order 2014

Made                               24 September 2014

The Welsh Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the power contained in section 14(1) of the Active Travel (Wales) Act 2013([1]).

Title and interpretation

1.—(1) The title of this Order is the Active Travel (Wales) Act 2013 (Commencement) Order 2014.

(2) In this Order, “the Act” (“y Ddeddf”) means the Active Travel (Wales) Act 2013. 

Commencement

2. Sections 3 to 11 of the Act are to come into force on the day after the day on which this Order is made.
